Lee Hyun-jung, design director at Samsung C&T Fashion Group’s brand Galaxy, explains: \u201cAs the stereotypes of masculinity have been broken and this shift is accelerating, we also need to change our view and approach to menswear. In recent years with the rise of street chic, tailoring had become all but forgotten. But now it\u2019s back, bringing with it new colors and patterns that were previously rarely seen in menswear and infusing spring\/summer 2020 collections with new vitality and unique styles.<\/p>

There\u2019s a focus on bringing in a sporty mood while still retaining the feel of classic heritage. Some new tailoring styles for men who pursue an elegant look with an active lifestyle can be seen in the new season\u2019s showcase brought out by Galaxy, which has added functionality to a sporty look.<\/p>

Galaxy has launched a new casual line, SARTECH, that proudly expresses sportiness through high quality wool in line with the newly re-emerging tailored mood. SARTECH features outerwear items such as trench coats and safari jackets using a luxurious fabric with water-resistant functionality.<\/p>

Garment dyeing is the process of adding color to fully manufactured apparel, rather than dyeing the fabric first. With its natural yet classy look and vintage tone, this process has been widely used in casualwear such as shirts, pants and sweatshirts, but now we are seeing it in jackets too.<\/p>

Galaxy suggests matching a short Harrington jacket with garment-dyed pants, a round neck knit sweater, and a petite scarf, while Galaxy Lifestyle pairs garment-dyed Harrington-style blousons and sweaters in trendy colors with denims.<\/p>

Meanwhile, Rogatis introduces jackets, pants, outerwear and tops that show off garment dyeing and washing effects.<\/p>

Blurring the line between shirts and outerwear, MVIO has released a practical range of half-shirt, half-jacket shackets. They can be worn by themselves or as an additional layer during that time in the early spring when a day can fluctuate between hot and cold.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

This season soft pastel tones comprise the core colors. Young men will be mixing and matching different garments of the same tones, or creating new harmonies between formal and casual wear. Pink, one of the main colors of the Millennial generation, appears in a variety of different eye-catching hues in men\u2019s fashion, from pale rose, through coral pink to even hot pink.<\/p>

The Pantone Color Institute selected classic blue as the color of the year for 2020, which has led to increased attention to the whole spectrum of shades of blue. The Samsung Fashion Institute chose aqua as its key color for this spring\/summer season, and it has made a powerful appearance on the catwalk at fashion weeks in a range of marine moods.<\/p>

Natural-looking beige is also in, which pairs comfortably with pastel tones and different shades of blue.<\/p>

Rogatis offers a range of set-up suits, with jacket and pants that can be worn individually or as an ensemble, and also practical tops and jackets in colors from nature like khaki and beige. Italian smart casual brand Slowear has incorporated blue into its new bomber jacket, as well as knitwear and pants, while vivid blue and yellow highlights paired with neutral colors are the theme at MVIO.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
