And that is why an international team of ecologists from three continents is now attempting to unlock the secrets of the rainforest canopy. Their equipment? The father of the modern crane was William Armstrong, the inventor of the hydraulic crane, as well as its engine, the hydraulic accumulator.<\/p><p>Once he had perfected his creation, he began producing cranes commercially \u2013 selling them as devices intended to load heavy quantities of coal onto barges. Its electronic hardware lets it calibrate its position [\u2026] and reduces the chances of the crane toppling.\u201d<\/p><p>Meanwhile, digital-age innovators are starting to change the way cranes work, with innovative software solutions. These include features like a\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/meconstructionnews.com\/19524\/link-belt-unveils-enhanced-crane-control-software\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">programmable, customizable OS for crane operators<\/a>, allowing for remote operation, and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.manmonthly.com.au\/news\/advance-internet-delivers-tech-savvy-chatty-cranes-brains\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cranes that perform self-diagnostic tests<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 informing operators of production risks and potential accident hazards.<\/p><p>Constructors like Samsung C&amp;T are aware of the need to stay abreast with the latest developments in crane technology.
