Until recently, the word demure was an outdated way to describe being modest and reserved, especially for women. The word’s newfound popularity allows it to take on the opposite meaning. Lebron uses the word “demure” in a satirical way, critiquing the traditions of femininity in her playful videos that come with an ironic undertone.<\/p>
