As a result, operators are increasingly turning to liquid immersion cooling, a method that offers dramatic improvements in cooling efficiency, energy use, and system density.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How Immersion Cooling Works<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Immersion cooling is a <a href=\"http:\/\/forbes.com\/councils\/forbestechcouncil\/204\/03\/06\/revolutionizing-data-center-sustainability-the-power-of-liquid-immersion-cooling-technology\">high-efficiency thermal management method<\/a> where IT components are submerged in non-conductive dielectric fluid. The resulting vapor is condensed and returned to the tank, providing highly efficient heat removal.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Both systems eliminate the need for mechanical fans and large-scale air conditioning, resulting in reduced energy use, quieter operations, and greater hardware density.
