Samsung C&T E&C Group has once again been recognized for its design excellence on the global stage.

At the 2026 Asia Design Prize, three residential complexes constructed by Samsung C&T, along with the Raemian Gallery, received a total of seven Winner awards, further solidifying the company’s reputation for outstanding architectural and landscape design.

The achievement marks the sixth consecutive year that Samsung C&T has been honored at Asia’s largest international design competition, a distinction that makes it the only domestic construction company to maintain such a record.

Recognized Across Spatial and Communication Design

The Asia Design Prize is Asia’s largest international design competition, selecting winners from more than 1,500 entries submitted from 31 countries. Projects are evaluated based on aesthetics, originality, and practicality across spatial, industrial, and communication design fields.

At this year’s awards, Samsung C&T received seven Winner recognitions across two key categories. In the Spatial & Architecture field, Raemian One Perla, Raemian One Pentas, and Jamsil Raemian I’Park were honored for their exterior and landscape design excellence.

In the Communication category, Raemian Gallery was recognized for its interactive experiential content, demonstrating how residential branding can extend beyond physical space into immersive engagement.

Raemian One Perla: Three Awards in a Single Complex

Raemian One Perla received three Winner awards within a single complex, demonstrating exceptional design integration across multiple elements.

The development incorporated cha-gyeong, a traditional Korean landscape technique that frames surrounding scenery as part of the garden composition, in its book café known as the “Wind Library Garden.”

Another awarded space, the “Green Art Gallery Garden,” features media glass installations that create a striking nighttime atmosphere, blending landscaping with digital art elements.

The complex’s exterior design was also recognized for its geometric unity, reflecting architectural coherence across the entire residential environment.

Raemian One Pentas and Jamsil Raemian I’Park

Raemian One Pentas was honored for its exterior design inspired by reflections of light on the Han River. The façade incorporates organic linear forms that translate the fluid movement of water into architectural expression.

At Jamsil Raemian I’Park, two landscape features were recognized:

• Blue Forest Garden, designed to offer panoramic views from four distinct vantage points within the complex
• Blue Wave Playground, inspired by the curves of flowing water and wave patterns

Both projects were praised for translating natural motifs into experiential outdoor environments.

Raemian Gallery: Interactive Design in Communication

In the Communication category, Raemian Gallery received a Winner award for its interactive experiential content titled “My Raemian City.”

The project allows visitors to color landmark buildings constructed by Samsung C&T, which are then digitally connected and transformed into immersive media art installations. The experience merges participation, creativity, and brand storytelling, reinforcing Raemian’s identity through interactive engagement.

Six Consecutive Years of Global Recognition

With this year’s awards, Samsung C&T E&C has achieved six consecutive years of recognition at the Asia Design Prize, a meaningful milestone that highlights Raemian’s design competitiveness across landscaping, residential products, and gallery experiences.

“This Asia Design Prize recognition is the result of Raemian’s creativity and design competitiveness being acknowledged internationally,” said Sang-guk Kim, Executive Vice President and Head of Samsung C&T’s Housing Development Business Division. “We will further strengthen Raemian’s distinctive design leadership and continue to deliver exceptional residential value to our residents.”
