Celebrate Halloween at Everland this Fall

Everland and Netflix have announced an exciting collaboration this fall with the launch of this year’s “Blood City” immersive horror-themed zone at Everland. From early September, visitors can experience the world of popular shows on the streaming platform Netflix, such as the Korean Drama “All of Us Are Dead” and the wildly popular series “Stranger Things.” Everland is Korea’s largest theme park, located outside of Seoul in Yongin, a city in Gyeonggi province.

“Blood City” is Everland’s large-scale outdoor theme zone for its fall festivals and has established itself as a mecca for horror experiences with spooky storytelling and unique collaborations every fall.

Immerse Yourself in the World of Netflix

For this year’s “Blood City,” a never-before-seen narrative will be presented to visitors for an immersive storytelling experience using hit Netflix shows. There has been a lot of anticipation from fans waiting to immerse themselves in the world of the “All of Us are Dead” series. Launching in 2022, the Korean coming-of-age zombie apocalypse TV series created a K-Zombie craze around the globe. “Stranger Things” also boasts a wide fanbase around the world after it first aired in 2016 and mixes horror, coming of age, and science fiction genres with 80’s nostalgia.

The worlds within the two TV shows will collide in an immersive and interactive horror-themed zone that is reminiscent of a movie set at Everland’s “Blood City.” A spokesperson for Netflix stated, “We have high expectations for our collaboration with Everland, the largest theme park in South Korea that is creating a K-content craze.”

Storytelling through Experiential Masterpieces

This year, Everland hopes to elevate “Blood City” following the success of its previous iterations of “Blood City.” Last year’s “Blood City” theme was a cyberpunk-style experiential space created in collaboration with art director Chae Kyung-sun, who was the production designer on the hit Netflix series “Squid Game.”
