Welcome to Blood City 8: A Mecca for Captivating Horror Experiences
First introduced in 2017, Blood City is Everland’s largest outdoor theme zone and a staple attraction during the fall season. Returning for its eighth season, Blood City will feature a recreation of “Hyosan High School,” the school featured in “All of Us Are Dead,” and “Starcourt Mall” from “Stranger Things.” Covering a 10,000-square-metre interactive zone, visitors can experience an immersive narrative and step into the role of real TV characters.
Visit the City of Hyosan
When first entering the large gates of Blood City, visitors are met with the “All of Us Are Dead” zone based on Netflix’s K-drama zombie thriller that sparked a K-zombie craze after its initial release in 2022. Here, you can discover a recreation of “Hyosan High School” and the City of Hyosan, the locations of the initial zombie virus outbreak in the TV series. Guests can also experience immersive lighting, projection mapping, and high-quality sound design for an enhanced experience.
Travel Back in Time to 1980s Hawkins, Indianna
In front of the large gates of Blood City, there is a themed experience zone based on the series “Stranger Things,” a sci-fi thriller set in 1980s Indiana that has garnered a strong fan base in South Korea and abroad. Fans of the show can visit “Starcourt Mall,” “Starcourt Base,” and the “Upside Down,” iconic fictional 80s locations from the series. For an even more thrilling experience, visitors can snap a picture with a seven-meter-high sculpture of the “Mind Flayer,” a shadow entity from an unknown dimension featured heavily in the series.
"All of Us Are Dead"... LIVE!
“All of Us Are Dead: LIVE” is a stage production based on the hit Netflix series and will be performed every evening at Blood City’s feature stage. The first performance of its kind, beloved characters from the TV series, including Nam-ra, Cheong-san, and On-jo, are featured in the show. The performance features scenes from the TV series, opening with the voice of Lee Byeong-chan, the school’s science teacher, and actors running among the audience members for a tense and immersive stage production.
Escape from the "Horror Maze"
Blood City’s “Horror Maze” has been revamped for Season 8 with a theme based on Netflix’s “All of Us Are Dead.” As the ultimate horror experience, guests enter a darkened room and must escape from zombie evasion by finding their way out of the maze or risk zombification.
The “Horror Maze” includes sets including Hyosan High School’s Nurse’s Office, the Library, and the science classroom. Actors will be there to guide guests to their escape, providing a livelier horror experience.
Dress-Up and Eat Like a Netflix Character
At Blood City, guests can rent a “Hyosan High School” uniform and get their zombie makeup done for an added layer of immersion. Blood City visitors can enjoy a range of themed dishes at Hyosan High School Cafeteria (All of Us Are Dead) and “Scoops Ahoy” Ice Cream Truck (Stranger Things). A variety of merchandise is also available for purchase.
South Korea's First Multi-Series Experience Zone
