The roar of the racetrack is coming to Everland this autumn, with real Formula One cars, racing simulators and opportunities for visitors to suit up and compete for their fastest lap time.
Operated by Samsung C&T Resort Group, Everland will present Final Lap, the latest edition of its Whatever Series, from September 18 through October 31 around Global Fair Plaza and the Butterfly Experience Hall.
The Whatever Series is Everland’s monthly curation project, introducing a new theme and a fresh selection of experiences each month. This autumn’s edition is dedicated to motorsports, capturing the speed, competition and thrill of victory through exhibitions, games and hands-on activities.
Racing culture, particularly Formula One, has expanded beyond watching races into films, documentaries, games and fashion. As motorsports increasingly become part of the lifestyle enjoyed by younger generations, Final Lap is expected to offer fans a new way to experience that excitement firsthand.
Historic Formula One Cars Take Center Stage
Everland has brought together the wider infrastructure of its Yongin complex, including Everland Speedway, widely regarded as the home of Korean motorsports, and historic racing cars from the Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance Mobility Museum.
The festival also features collaborations with motorsports organizations and brands including the CJ Superrace Championship, the Korea Automobile Racing Association, or KARA, Nexen Tire and Logitech G.
At Global Fair’s outdoor plaza, visitors can see two Formula One cars from the Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance Mobility Museum collection: the Minardi M193 and Benetton B199, both of which once competed on actual Formula One circuits.
Racing flags, a podium and other motorsports-inspired photo zones recreate the atmosphere of a racetrack. Three racing cars wrapped with Everland characters will also be displayed, offering playful backdrops for commemorative photos.
Visitors of all ages can also participate in mini-games created with Nexen Tire using real tires, with souvenirs awarded to those who successfully complete the challenges.
Step Into the Driver’s Seat
Inside the Butterfly Experience Hall, visitors can become racers at an experience zone inspired by the CJ Logistics-sponsored O-NE Superrace Championship.
They can complete a steering-wheel racing game before stepping onto the podium for a victory photo. Racing simulators also allow visitors to compete against a companion, using Logitech G steering wheels and pedals to race around a virtual circuit and record their fastest lap times.
A costume experience completes the transformation, inviting participants to put on racing suits and helmets and pose for photos with a trophy.
Visitors who complete missions such as following designated social media accounts and participating in racing games can also enter an event offering special prizes. Rewards include tickets to the final round of the 2026 O-NE Superrace Championship, scheduled to take place at Everland Speedway in October, as well as exclusive merchandise.
Discover the History of Korean Motorsports
A history museum created in collaboration with KARA traces the development of motorsports in Korea.
Through vivid photographs, visitors can explore major competitions and landmark moments that shaped the country’s racing history, adding a deeper look at the sport alongside Final Lap’s interactive experiences.
Everland Speedway will continue that story in October when it hosts the final rounds of several motorsports competitions, including the 2026 O-NE Superrace Championship.
The Racing Theme Extends to Food and Merchandise
The motorsports theme extends throughout Final Lap with food and merchandise designed to capture the energy of the racetrack.
Fantastic Tea Café will introduce a selection of themed menu items, including Racetrack Churros, Energy Gold Brew Coffee and Energy Boost Ade.
Visitors can also browse 14 motorsports-themed products, including keychains and badges, at the Grand Emporium and the Final Lap experience zone. The collection offers fans a way to take home a souvenir of their racing experience.
Final Lap runs from September 18 through October 31 around Global Fair Plaza and the Butterfly Experience Hall at Everland.
