As autumn deepens, Everland operated by Samsung C&T Resort Group is embracing the season with a landscape filled with vibrant hues. The park’s tens of thousands of maple, ginkgo, and zelkova trees, alongside marigolds and kochia, are turning into a mosaic of color that will reach its peak between late October and early November.

To celebrate the season, Everland has curated picturesque routes that capture the essence of fall, offering visitors an easy day trip destination near the Seoul metropolitan area.

The Return of the Ginkgo Forest

Everland’s popular Ginkgo Forest will open exclusively to Garden Pass subscribers for four days from November 7 to 10. Located near Sinwon-ri at the foot of Hyangsu Mountain, the 150,000-square-meter forest features around 30,000 ginkgo trees planted in the 1970s as part of national reforestation efforts.
The forest drew enormous attention during last year’s trial opening, selling out within minutes of registration and earning high praise for its untouched beauty. Along the 4-kilometer trail, visitors will find benches, hammocks, and quiet spaces for reflection, offering a serene escape surrounded by golden leaves.

This year’s program accommodates 600 participants in total, with 150 people per day. Reservations can be made on Everland’s website, and forest therapy experts will lead guided walks, meditation sessions, and tea experiences as part of the healing-focused itinerary.

Garden Pass, Korea’s first garden subscription service operated by Everland, offers exclusive access to seasonal plant content and events each month. Visitors can choose from different subscription types, including the new Garden 365 pass.

Autumn Views Across Everland

Beyond the Ginkgo Forest, fall has transformed the entire park into a colorful retreat. The Sky Garden Trail, stretching about one kilometer, is lined with plum and spindle trees forming a natural canopy of warm red and orange leaves. The bright red kochia bushes are now in full bloom, creating one of Everland’s most photogenic autumn scenes.

At the Four Seasons Garden, themed after The Wizard of Oz, around 10 million blossoms including marigolds, globe amaranths, and silver grass fill the area with vibrant seasonal charm. Visitors can also enjoy the view from attractions like Thunder Falls, which glides through forested slopes, and T Express, which offers panoramic sights of Everland’s autumn landscape from 56 meters above the ground.

A Scenic Drive to the Park

The 5-kilometer drive from Maseong Tollgate to Everland’s main gate is also a highlight of the season. The route winds through mountain scenery where colorful leaves line both sides of the road, making it one of the most scenic drives in the metropolitan area.

Visitors can enjoy the beauty of autumn even before entering the park, setting the tone for a full day of seasonal delight. For full details on events, operating hours, and ticket reservations, visit the Everland website or check out the Everland app. Visitors who sign up on the Visit Korea website will receive a 35% discount coupon, redeemable at the Everland main gate ticket office.
