Everland Kicks Off June with “Football & Taco” for Its Monthly Whatever Series

As football excitement builds around the world this June, Samsung C&T Resort Group’s Everland is introducing “Football & Taco,” the sixth theme of its monthly special event program, the Whatever Series.

The Whatever Series is Everland’s project that presents a new theme each month, offering visitors fresh ways to enjoy the park through seasonal concepts, interactive content, and limited-period experiences.

For June, Everland brings together the dynamic energy of football with colorful Mexican food, creating a theme that invites families, friends, and couples to run, eat, cheer, and enjoy the season together.

Train, Play, and Score at the Football Training Camp

At the festival content zone in front of Alpine Village, visitors can step into the “Football Training Camp,” a football-themed experience zone where they can complete training missions, record their scores, and receive rewards.

The experience begins at the central training center, where visitors register as players before taking on missions set up throughout the zone. Each activity is designed around a different football position, including striker, goalkeeper, and midfielder, allowing participants to try out the characteristics of each role in a fun and accessible way.

Visitors can also join an additional bingo mission, where they kick a football to complete a bingo board. With missions designed for friendly competition and cheering, the camp offers an easy way for friends, couples, and families to enjoy the football theme together.

After completing all missions, visitors can verify their mission sheet and receive rewards based on their combined score. Prizes include Amazon Express Q-Pass tickets, cheering items, football-themed accessories, and other gifts.

Football Skills, Photo Zones, and Character Experiences

The football experience continues with special programs that allow visitors to get closer to the sport.

Every Friday and Saturday, freestyle footballers Hyun-yong Lee and Jin-seok Park of LikatCrew (@likatofficial) will lead a hands-on program for elementary school students, teaching freestyle football techniques. Participation is available through Everland’s Smart Reservation system.

From Wednesday to Sunday each week, visitors can also take part in “High-Intensity Training with the Coach,” a customer-participation recreation program where they can earn additional scores through interactive activities.

The area also features photo zones inspired by football stadiums and training camps. Adding to the theme, Jack from Lenny & Friends will appear in a football player costume during special photo times, giving visitors the chance to capture memorable photos.

Visitors can also find recently launched collaboration goods featuring Suwon Samsung Bluewings and Everland’s Lenny & Friends characters at the merchandise shop inside the Football Training Camp.

Mexican Food Street Brings Festive Flavors to Alpine Village

After taking part in the football activities, visitors can head to the nearby “Mexican Food Street” to enjoy a range of Mexican-inspired menu items.

Four food trucks are located in front of the Football Training Camp and Alpine Restaurant, serving dishes such as Mexican chicken tacos, walking tacos, elote, and Mexican shrimp.

Designed to be easy to enjoy while walking around the park, the menu adds a casual and festive food experience to the June theme. With colorful ingredients and eye-catching presentation, the dishes also offer fun photo moments for visitors enjoying the park.

Animal Prediction Events and Football Promotions

The football theme continues at Everland’s zoo, where animal enrichment programs will be connected to match prediction events featuring Korean tigers, seals and sea lions, chimpanzees, and other animals.
Throughout June, Everland is also running the “Play & Cheer Up!” promotion for guests who visit the park wearing football uniforms. Visitors wearing football jerseys can receive admission discounts and special benefits for the Football Training Camp.

With football-themed missions, seasonal food offerings, character experiences, animal events, and visitor promotions, Football & Taco brings Everland’s June Whatever Series theme to life across the park.
An Everland official said, “For June, we have prepared a special football-themed event where visitors can run, eat, cheer, and enjoy the season together,” adding, “We hope guests experience the energetic atmosphere of football and a variety of Mexican food at Everland.”
