Everland is set to launch its latest immersive safari experience, the ‘River Trail Adventure,’ on March 21, coinciding with the opening of its annual Tulip Festival. This new attraction features a floating bridge that allows visitors to walk above water while observing lions, elephants, giraffes, and more from an unprecedented vantage point.

Samsung C&T Resort Group has announced the launch of ‘River Trail Adventure’, Everland’s latest and most immersive safari experience yet. This brand-new attraction allows visitors to step into the heart of the wild, walking just above the water on a specially designed floating bridge. Opening on March 21, the opening aligns with the start of Everland’s beloved Tulip Festival, offering guests an unforgettable blend of adventure and scenic beauty.
A First-of-Its-Kind Walking Safari Above Water
For the first time in Everland’s history, guests can walk across a 220-meter round-trip floating bridge nestled between Safari World and Lost Valley, the park’s two renowned safari zones. Built using 1,500 pontoons and measuring 110 meters in length and 3 meters in width, the bridge provides a secure yet thrilling path for visitors to observe wildlife from a closer-than-ever vantage point.
Unlike traditional safaris where guests remain inside vehicles, River Trail Adventure allows visitors to venture into the habitat on foot, creating an immersive, heart-pounding experience that redefines the connection between humans and wildlife.

Up-Close Encounters With Majestic Wildlife
The experience begins at the Lost Valley boarding area, where visitors first ride a classic safari bus before reaching the River Trail entrance. From there, they embark on a walking journey across the newly installed bridge, offering breathtaking views of wildlife in their naturalistic habitat.
As guests traverse the floating bridge, they will witness majestic lions, watchful hyenas, and other predators lurking in the distance—offering an exhilarating sense of being deep within their territory. Meanwhile, elephants, giraffes, and pelicans move freely through the open habitat, allowing for breathtaking, real-life documentary-style moments.
Along the way, visitors can get an even closer view of Everland’s famous talking elephant, Kosik, and the park’s graceful giraffes. This immersive experience brings them face-to-face with nine species and over 30 animals in an unforgettable encounter.

A New Perspective on Safari Exploration
Beyond just a thrilling adventure, River Trail Adventure is also an educational experience. Everland has incorporated an interactive docent program, where expert guides share fascinating insights into the behaviors, habitats, and conservation efforts of the featured wildlife. Visitors will gain a deeper understanding of the delicate balance of nature while experiencing the wild up close. This combination of adventure and education ensures an unforgettable, immersive safari experience.

Embark on the Ultimate Wildlife Experience
The full River Trail Adventure experience lasts approximately 30 minutes, with 15 minutes dedicated to the walking safari segment. Each session accommodates up to 40 visitors at a time. Tickets are priced at KRW 10,000 per person on weekdays and KRW 15,000 per person on weekends and holidays. For those who prefer a classic safari experience, Everland continues to offer its traditional guided safaris at Safari World and Lost Valley, available to all guests at no additional cost.
An Everland spokesperson emphasized the unique nature of this experience, stating, “River Trail Adventure offers a rare opportunity to walk above water while encountering a diverse range of wildlife in an intimate and immersive way. We invite visitors to explore this thrilling new perspective and create unforgettable memories in the heart of Everland’s safari.”
