8seconds, a casual brand under Samsung C&T Fashion Group, has introduced its SS26 menswear collection, reinforcing its strategy to expand in the men’s casual fashion market. The launch reflects a continued increase in male customers, as the brand broadens its offering beyond its traditionally female customer base.
Over the past five years from 2020 to 2025, 8seconds’ menswear category has recorded an average annual sales growth rate of approximately 10 percent. This growth trend has continued into 2026, with cumulative sales through February showing double-digit growth compared to the previous year. Among its key drivers, faux leather outerwear has emerged as a standout item, achieving more than 50 percent year-on-year sales growth and contributing to overall performance.
A More Refined Approach to Everyday Menswear
For SS26, 8seconds presents a collection that moves fluidly between styles, offering a balance of structure and ease. The men’s line introduces gender-fluid pieces that soften traditional boundaries, alongside polished looks suited for everyday workwear.
The casual lineup brings a more playful edge, featuring T-shirts with dyeing techniques and bold graphics, as well as sporty preppy styles that reflect a youthful, contemporary mood. Together, the collection captures a sense of versatility, allowing pieces to transition naturally across different settings and occasions.
Reinterpreting Streetwear with S.W. Smiley®
This season also introduces a collaboration with global brand S.W. Smiley®, known for its iconic symbol and strong resonance with digitally engaged audiences. Rooted in a spirit of innovation and change, the brand brings a distinctive energy to the collection.
Through this collaboration, 8seconds reimagines streetwear with its own sensibility. The lineup includes pieces such as a natural varsity jacket in vintage-inspired dark tones, accented with S.W. Smiley® embroidery, alongside garment-dyed T-shirts that combine graphic elements with expressive lettering. Each item reflects a balance between familiarity and reinterpretation, blending recognizable motifs with 8seconds’ design language.
