Samsung C&T’s Engineering & Construction (E&C) Group held its 2026 FutureScape Demo Day at the company’s headquarters in Gangdong-gu, Seoul, on Oct. 26. The event featured six startups sharing results from four months of testing their technologies in real-world settings.
FutureScape is an open innovation program jointly organized by Samsung C&T and the Seoul Business Agency (SBA). It identifies startups with promising technologies and connects them with Samsung C&T E&C Group’s business infrastructure, offering opportunities to test solutions and explore joint commercialization. The six startups selected this year began their trials after a kickoff meeting in July.
Showcasing Real-World Trial Results Across Residential and Commercial Spaces
The startups presented solutions supporting the digital transformation of spaces, including AI-powered home care, smart booths and in-building logistics. They shared results from trials in residential communities and on the Group’s platforms, along with potential paths for commercialization and future collaboration.
Home&Co tested a model that connects with Samsung C&T E&C Group’s Homeniq platform, allowing residents to access home care and repair services based on standardized pricing. Lemong operated an AI-powered learning curation service for residents at a Raemian community, exploring how digital learning could be integrated into residential spaces.
Dver applied an automated in-building logistics solution using autonomous mobile robots for parcel intake and automated robot dispatch. InBooth presented modular smart booths that are easy to install and relocate, offering a way to make more efficient use of available spaces.
Team Elysium introduced a service that uses 3D sensors to assess individuals’ musculoskeletal health and physical balance and provide related data. cPlatAI explored senior care applications using cloned family AI voices for conversation-based check-ins and emotional engagement.

Fostering Startup Collaboration for Commercialization and Integration
The Group has worked with startups through FutureScape since 2023, continuing collaboration with companies whose solutions have demonstrated commercialization potential. Previous outcomes include integrating healthcare device connectivity and a counseling AI model into Wellfy, an AI wellness solution, and introducing construction-specific AI translation solutions at multiple sites to help prevent safety incidents involving foreign workers.
Based on the trial results presented at this year’s Demo Day, Samsung C&T E&C Group plans to move toward concrete collaboration with participating startups. This may include refining services, applying them in residential communities and integrating them into the Group’s platforms.
“FutureScape is an open innovation program that brings together startups’ innovative technologies and Samsung C&T’s space and platform infrastructure to create value for customers,” said Hyung Si-won, Head of the DxP Business Strategy Team at Samsung C&T E&C Group. “We will continue to work closely with promising startups to deliver new value to customers.”
