8seconds, a casual brand created by Samsung C&T’s Fashion Group, has unveiled a new FW womenswear collection in collaboration with MINJUKIM, the Seoul-based label known for its fairytale-inspired imagination and bold, feminine designs.

The 8seconds × MINJUKIM collection draws inspiration from blooming rose gardens, weaving together the romantic aesthetic of MINJUKIM with 8seconds’ casual sensibility. Signature elements such as embroidery, wavelike pleats, and sheer fabrics are reinterpreted into everyday wear, offering pieces like cropped jackets, balloon skirts, floral tulle dresses, graphic T-shirts, embroidered cardigans, and ruffled blouses.

A Designer with a Fairytale Vision

Founded in 2015, MINJUKIM has grown into one of Seoul’s most distinctive fashion brands, celebrated for its artistic creativity, fairytale imagination, and craftsmanship. Designer Minju Kim, born in Seoul and trained at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, launched her namesake label after winning the prestigious H&M Design Award. She later became a semi-finalist in the LVMH Prize for Young Fashion Designers and gained global recognition as the winner of Netflix’s Next in Fashion.

Known for combining youthful playfulness with avant-garde haute couture, Kim’s work blends bold silhouettes, feminine details, and an overarching sense of joyfulness.
