- Caribbean Bay has welcomed around 100,000 visitors since reopening in mid-April, more than double the number from previous years
- As early summer heat drives demand for water activities, major outdoor attractions including Tower Boomerang Go, Tower Raft, Adventure Pool, Water Bobsleigh, and Surfing Ride are opening up to five weeks earlier than planned

Summer is arriving early at Caribbean Bay. As daytime temperatures in Korea have already climbed above 30 degrees Celsius in May, more visitors are heading to the water park to cool off before the traditional summer vacation season begins.
Operated by Samsung C&T Resort Group, Caribbean Bay reopened in mid-April after its spring refresh and has since welcomed around 100,000 visitors. According to Everland, this is more than double the number of visitors compared to previous years, showing how quickly demand for water activities has grown amid the unusually early heat.
A Caribbean Bay representative noted that hot weather has arrived across the country earlier than usual this year, with some areas seeing daytime highs approach 36 degrees Celsius in May. The warmer weather appears to be encouraging more guests to enjoy water activities ahead of peak summer.
To meet this growing demand, Caribbean Bay is opening additional outdoor attractions up to five weeks earlier than originally planned. Alongside facilities already in operation, including the Wave Pool and Mega Storm, the park plans to have all water attractions fully operating by mid-June.
Outdoor Thrills Return Earlier Than Expected
The early opening begins on May 29 with Tower Boomerang Go and Tower Raft, two of Caribbean Bay’s popular large-scale attractions.
Both rides start from the top of a 19-meter-high tower designed with a pirate watchtower concept. Tower Boomerang Go gives riders the thrill of a steep drop followed by a powerful vertical ascent, while Tower Raft offers a fast-moving rafting experience through rushing water.
On May 30, Caribbean Bay is also opening Adventure Pool, Water Bobsleigh, and Surfing Ride earlier than scheduled, giving visitors more ways to enjoy the outdoor water park atmosphere.
Adventure Pool is one of Caribbean Bay’s signature areas, featuring the park’s iconic giant skull structure that releases 2.4 tons of water. For visitors looking for a more fast-paced experience, Water Bobsleigh offers a body-slide ride with a sharp downhill rush, while Surfing Ride lets guests enjoy waves on a board.
Other popular outdoor attractions, including Aqualoop and Wild Blaster, are also scheduled to open sequentially by June 20.
A Refreshing Pre-Summer Visit Before Peak Season
May and June are often considered some of the best times to enjoy Caribbean Bay before the busiest summer vacation period begins.
As the weather becomes warm enough for outdoor water activities, visitors can enjoy the park’s major attractions in a relatively more relaxed atmosphere compared to peak season. With the Wave Pool, Mega Storm, outdoor slides, pool areas, and other facilities opening earlier, guests can experience a fuller water park day before the height of summer crowds.
The early opening also gives visitors more flexibility to plan a refreshing day out, whether they are looking for high-speed slides, wave attractions, pool areas, or a cooler outdoor activity as temperatures continue to rise.
From Water Attractions to Summer Festival Fun
Caribbean Bay’s summer season will continue with the launch of its summer festival on June 12.
The festival will combine water activities with seasonal entertainment and themed experiences, including character photo zones, themed food and merchandise, and music parties. With major outdoor attractions opening early and festival programs beginning in June, Caribbean Bay is preparing a full summer experience for visitors looking to enjoy water activities, entertainment, and a vacation-like atmosphere in one place.
