Caribbean Bay, South Korea’s iconic water park, is ready for the summer season with over 20 water attractions, including thrilling slides like the ‘Tower Raft’ and ‘Aqualoop’, a wave pool and lazy river, family-friendly play areas, and exciting summer events starting in June.
A Huge Splash of Adventure Awaits
As the weather gets hotter and the summer season kicks off, the Samsung C&T Resort Group is celebrating the seasonal opening of Everland’s Caribbean Bay, South Korea’s iconic water park. An adventure for every member of the family awaits at Caribbean Bay, which has over 20 water attractions, including thrilling water slides, water playgrounds, a lazy river, and spas.
In April, Caribbean Bay opened its wave pool and iconic ‘Mega Storm’ ride to visitors. For the summer season, the ‘Tower Raft’ and ‘Tower Boomerango’ opened to visitors on June 6. Water park attractions like the ‘Aqualoop’ and ‘Adventure Pool’ will open on June 22nd.
June is the perfect time for water park lovers to visit Caribbean Bay; with fewer crowds than the typical peak summer vacation period, you can enjoy the park’s attractions without the long queues. By early July, all 20 of Caribbean Bay’s water attractions will be up and running and ready for a splashing summer of family fun!
Thrilling Water Slides that You Won’t Want to Miss
The water slides you won’t want to miss out on this summer at Caribbean Bay are the ‘Tower Raft’ and ‘Tower Boomerango’. On the ‘Tower Raft’, experience swift currents and heart-racing sharp curves as you raft from a pirate’s watchtower with a five-story high drop! Then jump over to the ‘Tower Boomerango’ and tube down a slide that is a whopping 19 meters high.
Thrill seekers won’t be able to resist a ride on the ‘Aqualoop’ at Caribbean Bay this summer. The ‘Aqualoop’ has an adrenaline-pumping three second countdown before a platform below your feet disappears, followed by an exhilarating 18-meter drop and a 360-degree rotation. With speeds of up to 90 kilometers per hour, you’ll be ready to queue up and do it all over again.
Water Activities for the Whole Family
Children and families will have plenty of activities to enjoy together at Caribbean Bay this summer. The outdoor Kiddie Pool is a safe, shallow water playground with fun slides and see-saws for kids. Fancy a trip to the beach? Children can also enjoy sand play at the beach zone located near the wave pool. Meanwhile, parents can take time out to unwind at the open-air spa or enjoy some time at the Spa Village. Who said a trip to a waterpark can’t double as a pampering session? Don’t fret if you forget to bring swim caps, life jackets, sunscreen, or towels – the Caribbean Bay gift shop has a wide range of products available.
To capture your summer memories, snap some photos at the ‘Skull Water Falls’ skeleton tower located in the ‘Adventure Pool’. Strike a pose as 2.4 tons of water splash out from Caribbean Bay’s landmark skeleton bucket. The perfect way to cool off on a hot summer’s day and level-up your social media game.
Celebrate the Summer with Caribbean Bay
Caribbean Bay is hosting a summer festival and you’re all invited! On June 24, photo zones including a DJ booth and giant sunglasses will be set up near the wave pool for a summer celebration. From early July, there will be DJ pool parties and competitions for the ‘best physique’. Be sure to check out the exciting events happening this year to make it a summer you won’t forget.
