- This year’s festival introduces Hotel Rrt, a European hotel garden-inspired rose experience featuring photo zones, themed menus, merchandise, performances, and fragrance experiences

Everland’s Rose Garden will soon be filled with the scent of roses and a romantic seasonal atmosphere. Operated by Samsung C&T Resort Group, Everland is holding its Rose Festival from May 22 to June 21, featuring 3 million roses from 720 varieties in full bloom. This year’s festival expands on Rose Garden Royal High Tea (Rrt) which was first introduced last year.
For 2026, the theme has been upgraded into Hotel Rrt, transforming the Rose Garden into a European-style hotel garden where visitors can enjoy the feeling of a relaxing holiday surrounded by roses.
Throughout the festival, the Rose Garden will be decorated with colorful roses, elegant lighting, atmospheric music, and artwork. Visitors can stroll through the garden filled with rose fragrances while enjoying an experience that feels like staying at a fairytale hotel.
The festival also features artist-designed photo zones, rose-themed food and beverages, merchandise, performances, and special events, creating a romantic destination for couples, families, and friends.
Bringing European Garden Romance to Everland
This year’s Rose Festival features 3 million roses from 720 varieties from Korea and around the world, including Everland’s own rose varieties known as Everrose.
Reflecting the Hotel Rrt concept, the Rose Garden has been designed as a single journey that begins at the entrance and leads visitors toward Rose Castle, as if they are checking into a hotel. At the entrance, guests are welcomed by a hotel-style gate decorated with an elegant signboard and climbing roses.
At the center of the Rose Garden, a new Purple Rose Zone has been created with rows of purple roses, along with a photo zone inspired by a romantic garden party.
One of the highlights is a large chandelier measuring approximately three meters, creating the feeling of stepping into a grand European hotel banquet hall. At night, the chandelier and soft garden lighting illuminate the roses, adding a warmer and more romantic mood to the garden.
At the end of the Rose Garden, Rose Castle completes the European boutique hotel atmosphere with an emotional drawing facade by artist Daria Song, classic hotel-style luggage carts, and vintage suitcase objects.

Rose Fragrances and Everrose Experiences Fill the Garden
This year’s festival also expands fragrance-based experiences, allowing visitors to enjoy the unique scents of Everrose and other rose varieties throughout the garden.
At the Rose Lab experience zone, designed as a rose laboratory inside the garden, visitors can sample the fragrances of four Everrose varieties, including Tête de Belle and Lemon Bubble. The scents can be taken home on fragrance cards decorated with artwork by Daria Song.
Visitors may also encounter Rozy, a delivery robot introduced as a “fragrance butler,” as it moves around the Rose Garden and delivers the scent of Everrose to guests.
The rose tunnel and maze garden, filled with climbing roses, will also feature fragrance mist using highly aromatic Everrose varieties such as Sweet Dress and Bouquet de Perfume, creating a more immersive sensory experience.
Everland began developing Korean garden rose varieties in 2013 and has created more than 40 Everrose varieties to date. These roses have gained recognition both in Korea and overseas, including honors at international rose competitions and expansion into global markets.

Rose-Themed Menus, Merchandise, Jazz Performances, and Events
Everland is also introducing a wide range of rose-themed food, merchandise, performances, and special experiences during the festival.
A Hotel Restaurant Moment at Cucina Mario
Cucina Mario, an Italian restaurant near the Rose Garden, will be transformed into a hotel-style restaurant during the festival period. The restaurant’s interior and exterior will feature fairytale-like illustrations by Daria Song, creating a setting that connects naturally with the Rose Garden’s romantic atmosphere.
Visitors can also enjoy new rose-themed menus, including a pizza shaped like a fully bloomed rose using beef, a rose ade made with apple slices arranged like flower petals, heart churros, roseberry ice cream, and other seasonal items available at Cucina Mario and snack booths near the Rose Garden.
Festival Goods Inspired by Rest and Romance
To mark the Rose Festival, Everland is releasing more than 20 new merchandise items inspired by rest, healing, and the Hotel Rrt theme.
The lineup includes a fennec fox pajama plush, Ruihui cushion, Rrt parasol, homewear items, and emotional goods featuring artwork by Daria Song. The new merchandise will be available inside Rose Castle, at Everland retail shops such as Memorial Shop and Grand Emporium, and online.
Jazz, Youth Performances, and a Rose Garden Event
Live performances will add to the romantic garden atmosphere throughout the festival.
A four-member jazz band will perform daily in the outdoor garden area in front of Rose Castle, allowing visitors to enjoy live music surrounded by roses.
On June 3, the Rose Garden will also host The Young Mic (@theyoungmic), a performance program featuring young artists across genres such as live band music, dance, and R&B. Hosted by Korea’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and organized by the Regional Culture Promotion Agency, the program supports public access to cultural performances by young artists.
Everland is also holding a Hotel Rrt staycation event on its official Instagram account (@everland.now) through May 26. Participants can leave a comment sharing why they would like to visit the Rose Festival for a chance to win prizes such as Everland admission tickets, dining vouchers, and Cabin Hostel accommodation vouchers.
